About LernLink

LernLink is operated by LernLink KlG, Swiss UID CHE-456.034.881, Rapperswil SG, ZH. We connect learners and independent tutors. The tutor provides the teaching agreed in the offer and booking; LernLink provides the platform, booking and payment services.

Your account

Give accurate information, confirm your email and keep your account secure. Do not use another person's account or share private information without permission. Creating an account, finding tutors and messaging are free.

Agreeing on a lesson

You and your tutor agree on the subject, teaching format, location, hours and appointment. Lessons are booked in whole hours. A proposal alone is not an accepted appointment. Both parties must accept before an appointment can attract a cancellation charge. Extra or replacement lessons also require agreement.

Price and payment

Prices are in CHF. Your total, including any applicable fees, is shown before payment. Check the lesson details and accept the terms and payment, cancellation and refund policies before paying. A payment does not replace the tutor's agreement to an appointment.

Packages

A package buys the stated number of teaching hours at the agreed package price. Appointments are arranged separately. Tutors cannot charge for a session the student has not agreed to. Unused value is refundable under the refund policy and does not automatically expire. Completed hours are never repriced at a higher single-lesson rate.

Cancellations and changes

Student cancellation is free at least 24 hours before the appointment. Less than 24 hours before, but before the start, half the total is refundable. After the start or for a student no-show, the booked price normally applies. Tutor cancellations receive a full refund or free rescheduling at the student's choice. The cancellation policy explains guarantees and exceptions.

Respect and safety

Treat others respectfully. Do not post misleading offers, threaten or harass anyone, or request unlawful services. Stop a lesson and report unsafe behaviour. LernLink may restrict an account to protect others or investigate a complaint. Account closure does not automatically forfeit eligible unused money.

After the lesson

Check the lesson details before confirming. If something is wrong, report it instead. Once you and your tutor confirm the completed lesson, that session is closed and cannot be cancelled or refunded for an ordinary lesson complaint. Future appointments and unused package hours remain separate. Missing confirmation is not acceptance.

Problems and your rights

Report a problem from the lesson details as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours. LernLink reviews unresolved complaints using the booking, messages and relevant evidence. Reporting deadlines do not remove mandatory legal rights or prevent review of serious issues discovered later. You may raise a payment dispute with your bank; the same amount cannot be refunded twice.

Changes to these terms

The rules accepted for a purchase remain attached to that purchase. Later changes do not reduce its agreed protection. These terms do not limit mandatory legal rights.
