Clear agreements for offering lessons, managing appointments and receiving your earnings.

Your teaching

Provide accurate information about your experience, subjects, location and availability. Complete the required email and phone verification before publishing. You are responsible for delivering the teaching agreed with the student and for your applicable tax and professional obligations.

Your price

You set your teaching price in CHF. Your agreed earnings and any applicable charges are shown before you accept a booking. The price you agree to is binding.

Appointments and packages

Both parties must agree to each appointment, including sessions within a paid package. Report only teaching actually delivered. Lessons are arranged in whole hours. Unused package value does not become tutor earnings, and package cancellation does not increase the price of completed hours.

Student cancellation

You receive nothing when the student cancels at least 24 hours before start. For cancellation less than 24 hours before, but before start, you receive half your booked price. After-start cancellation or an upheld student no-show normally earns your full booked price. You may waive the charge or agree to free rescheduling. A cancellation charge never exceeds the affected appointment's price.

Your cancellation or absence

If you cancel or do not attend, the student receives the full affected payment back or chooses free rescheduling. You receive no earnings for refunded teaching. Do not ask a student to cancel on your behalf to create a student cancellation charge.

First-lesson guarantee

A student may stop within the first 30 minutes of your first lesson together and request a refund within 24 hours of the appointment. The first booked hour and remaining undelivered appointment hours are refunded. Eligible unused future package value is also refundable without cancellation penalties on request. You receive no earnings for refunded teaching. The guarantee applies once per student and tutor pair.

Attendance and shorter lessons

Before reporting a student's absence, wait at least 15 minutes and attempt contact in chat. Be ready and available for the booked teaching. A report alone is not proof of entitlement to payment. If you are late or cannot deliver the agreed time, agree replacement teaching or refund the undelivered part.

Confirmation and earnings

Report your completed lesson so the student can check it. Once both of you confirm it, the session is closed and your agreed earnings become payable. An ordinary later complaint does not reopen it or reduce those earnings. Future appointments and unused package hours remain separate. Fraud, serious safety concerns, bank disputes and mandatory legal rights may require a separate review. Contact us if confirmation is missing.

Disputes

Respond within 48 hours when asked about a reported issue. LernLink aims to decide within five business days after receiving sufficient evidence. Either party may ask for reconsideration within seven days with new evidence. Earlier undisputed lessons remain payable while a later session is reviewed.

Ending your teaching

If you end a package, all unused value is refunded and future appointments are cancelled without student penalties. Completed, undisputed lessons remain payable. The learner terms and the payment, cancellation and refund policies also apply. Mandatory legal rights remain unaffected.
